Born to a Mother who never let him meet his Father, because his blood-Father wasn't Hive like them. He's been a part of the Hive Mind since he was born, and has never felt like he's lacked anything, or missed out on anything that others without a Hive Mind might've experienced. To him, those without a connection to a Hive Mind are lessers - because they're limited to a single experience, while he has the knowledge and experiences of many, many, others.
He is blessed with exceptional Good Luck, where nothing ever goes wrong for him - and instead always goes right. He is naturally protected against Bad Luck.
He has a symbiotic parasite that's bonded to him, and is partially visible on his back. It's through this entity that he is connected to the Hive, and it's important to keep the symbiote protected - especially since any harm caused to it causes him agony too. Any offspring he has will inherit a symbiote of their own.
