Background: While mostly human, Vanari has enough elven blood to make most take a double-take at the young man. He has worked with his father and mother for several noble houses in Astrael prior to the Crash, mostly in the stables or kennels. As his father had trouble keeping a job, Vanari always felt slighted when they had to move. He is a hard worker and prefers to do things right the first time rather than do them over. Vanari was brought to Isla through the Refugee Program that began after Philippe's death. He has already stood a few times and failed and was content with working with the runnerbeasts (which he still calls horses), and herdbeasts until Philippe convinced him (okay, pleaded and begged) to try one more time at the Memorial Clutch.
