Background: Victoria hated her life. She was about to graduate but nothing was working out. Then her mother lost her job, blamed her for it, and Victoria was set to go live with her father, which should have been a good thing - he was rich after all. And he lived in a large city with plenty of opportunities. Fate had a different plan and when her flight was delayed she was robbed. Nothing was working right and given her situation she said 'fuck it, why not!' when the Searchriders asked her to go with them to a new world to possibly bond a dragon for life. It had to be a much better deal than what Earth was giving her at that moment.
